Course Content
Upon completing of the course, the student will:
- be able to understand the functionality and the role of Internet,
- be able to describe and identify the Internet applications and technologies,
- be able to understand the Internet architecture and its technological infrastructure,
- be able to understand the business models of the Internet,
- can select new technologies and social networking tools to improve the functionality of websites,
- can describe e-commerce, e-government and e-learning applications,
- can design dynamic websites that meet specific requirements and interests,
- acquire knowledge about the architecture and design of web applications,
- acquire skills in using free software for the implementation of Internet applications with emphasis on the agri-economic sector,
- acquire skills in writing HTML and CCS code, well structured, easily maintained, standards-compliant and accessible,
- acquire knowledge in the use of new digital technologies and social media tools,
- be able to provide advisory services on the development of websites and the adoption of social media tools.
